Getting stabbed isn't something you'd expect to happen to you at a Gregg Allman concert. But unfortunately for rock fan Ronald Sixt Jr., his night seeing the rock legend ended with a knife wound to the face.

During the Wednesday, Jan. 4, show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Sixt had apparently bumped into one Carl Darren Brothers, a drunken concertgoer who became aggressive after the initial contact. The men began arguing while Allman continued to play on stage, then fought for a period of time before Brothers unleashed a knife from his back pocket and stabbed Sixt.

CBS reports the venue's security broke up the fight and subsequently called police. Brothers was booked at the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with aggravated assault, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He has since been released. Sixt was treated for minor facial lacerations.
