Jason Derulo Breaks His Neck and Is Forced To Cancel His Concert Tour

Fortunately full recovery seems likely, but 22 year old Jason Derulo came very close to facing permanent paralysis according to doctors after landing on his head while practicing acrobatic dance moves for a planned world concert tour. He fractured vertebrae in his neck in the accident. The singer posted a photo of himself in a neck brace on Twitter with the question, "Like my new chain?" In an official press release Jason Derulo said, "The pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I sustained. My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future."
Jason Derulo's Future History tour would be celebrating a string of five top 20 pop hits since 2009. He has done even better in the UK where all five songs have reached the top 10.
